Thank you for using bee nice. This Privacy Policy explains how the bee nice app ("the App") handles your information. The short version: the App does not collect, store, or share any personal data. Everything stays on your device.

bee nice does not collect any personal data. Specifically, the App does not collect or process:
- Your name, email address, or any other identifying information
- Your location
- Usage data, analytics, or crash reports
- Any data that leaves your device
All app functionality — including your streak count, notification preferences, and category settings — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's standard local storage (UserDefaults). This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to the developer.
The App offers optional in-app purchases ("bee nice Pro" and a voluntary tip jar) processed entirely through Apple's App Store and StoreKit framework. The developer does not receive or store any payment information. All payment data is handled exclusively by Apple Inc. in accordance with Apple's Privacy Policy, which can be found at apple.com/legal/privacy.
The App does not track whether you have made a purchase beyond what is stored locally on your device for the purpose of unlocking Pro features.
The App can optionally send push notifications as daily reminders. Notifications are scheduled locally on your device using Apple's UNUserNotificationCenter framework. No data is transmitted to external servers in order to deliver these notifications.
You can enable or disable notifications at any time in the App's Settings screen or in your iPhone's system Settings under Notifications → bee nice.
The App does not integrate any third-party analytics tools, advertising networks, tracking SDKs, or social media frameworks. No data is shared with any third party.
The App is distributed via the Apple App Store. Apple may collect certain technical and usage data as part of operating the App Store. This data collection is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy and is outside the developer's control.
bee nice is designed for general audiences and does not knowingly collect any data from users of any age, including children under the age of 13. Since no personal data is collected at all, the App complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and applicable European regulations.
Since no personal data is collected or transmitted by the App, there is no data to secure on our end. Any data stored locally on your device (such as streak count and settings) is protected by the security features of your iPhone, including device encryption and Secure Enclave where applicable.
As the App does not collect or process any personal data, there is no personal data to access, correct, export, or delete. If you have questions or concerns, you are welcome to contact the developer directly using the contact details in Section 1.
If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Since no personal data is processed, no legal basis for processing is required and no data subject rights apply in practice. If you nonetheless have a concern, please contact the developer.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time, for example if new features are added to the App. The updated policy will always be available at the URL linked in the App and on the App Store listing. The date at the top of this document indicates when the policy was last updated.
Continued use of the App after an updated policy has been published constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree with the changes, please uninstall the App.
